20 April 2011 I don't know exactly what has possessed me to update this page... but that said, The AceRealm is long gone, and has been for over ten years now. I'm surprised this front page even exists, to be honest! :P If I could, I'd love to bring back the old pages, just for old time's sake (and so people can laugh at how we did things long before Facebook and Twitter!), but I guess I deleted them when I moved the page back in the day, and the service I moved to is long gone. Any backups I may have made are also long gone - I didn't have a CD burner back then, just 3.5" floppies that only held a little over 1MB of data (a far cry from modern USB thumb drives!). o.O
If you are curious, I'm still an Ace of Base fan. I always will be. I haven't quite warmed up to Clara and Julia yet, but I love Jonas' "Ace Thursdays" on Facebook. ;)
Anyway, I look back fondly on my AceRealm days. I was quite the noob to the Internet in general when I started this page - I was 18 years old, and had only gotten my first real PC two weeks before I entered into this project with very, very basic knowledge of HTML. Now... well, it's been awhile since I've done a webpage of my own, but I still use the knowledge that I gained almost 13 years later. :) I made many friends through this project as well, and I'm happy to say that I'm still in contact with a few of them.
